Red Robins November News
Look what we learned last month!
In October we learned about our feelings and emotions. We made an emotion chart and drew how we felt for the day. We started reviewing our sight words and how we felt for the day. We started reviewing our sight words and have been practicing writing them all month. We also learned about our five senses and how much we rely on them. We cut out pictures in magazines and made a book about our senses. Sharing was another important topic that we have been reviewing all month. For Halloween we decorated a bulletin board into a spooky haunted house. We made individual ghosts and scary spiders. Our Halloween party was so much fun!
What we will learn this month…
In November we have lots of fun activities planned. A new and fun topic we will be doing is revisiting the 50’s. This is to help us celebrate the 50th day of school. We will be learning all about Thanksgiving and the true meaning behind being “Thankful”. A fun activity planned for November will be to create our very own thankful placemat. We will be asking parents to participate in making a “Family Tree” and sharing it with the classroom. We are excited to start the month of November. We will also continue our weekly homework this month. Download the homework, help your child complete it at home and turn it in at the end of each week. We are ready to continue learning and having fun!
