Red Robins December News
Look what we learned last month!
In the month of November we made a Family collage and we had the children bring in pictures to share with their friends. We started to work on our sight words by writing sentences every day using the words. The children had an amazing and fun time learning the history of Thanksgiving and creating arts/crafts to reinforce what they learned. We made corn for the fall harvest. We also make our very own cool Turkey headbands to help us sing our songs for the other classrooms in the school. We will be posting some pictures on our websites photo gallery so be sure to check them out!!
What we will learn this month…
In December we will be learning about different celebrations around the world. We are talking about diversity and that it's ok to be different. We will be making kinaras to help us learn about Kwanzaa. We will be making dreidels for Hanukkah, piñatas for the posadas and a very cool dragon for Chinese New Year!! We will also be having a winter feast and we will focus on math skills by doing a snowman count. The winter season brings much joy to the children and we will be keeping busy!!

We would like to thank the Etherton Family and Ryan Burns for helping our classroom during our Thanksgiving feast. Your help is much appreciated!! Also to all the families who brought in an item we would like to say, "thank you very much!" The Fujimoto family was kind enough and bought our classroom a book from our wish list. The children really enjoy it
