Red Robins December News
Look what we learned last month!
In November our Red Robins enjoyed a very festive Thanksgiving lunch. We enjoyed turkey, stuffing, green bean casserole, mashed potatoes and so much more!!! We would like to thank all the parents who brought in these yummy dishes. We made silly turkeys with feathers, scarecrows to introduce the Fall season and more!!!! Our Red Robins enjoyed making a feathered hat to wear during our feast. We learned about the importance of sharing and being kind to everyone we meet. The Red Robins made a “I am thankful” chart to share with our family and friends. For science we made silly putty and used magnifying glasses to explore nature. We are looking forward to seeing what December has in store for us!!!
What we will learn this month…
In December we will be putting on a special Holiday performance for our family and friends. Details will be announced to the families. Our Red Robins will be working on recognizing and writing our last name. We will be doing “snow writing” to help us with fine motor development. Some fun activities in store for this month will be to make a snowman, Rudolph the red noised reindeer, a Christmas wreath and more!!! Our class will be making a sight word book and draw pictures to help us recognize them. We will be having a special breakfast activity so please be on the look out for the sign up list.
