Register NOW for the 2010-2011 School Year

July 26^rd through July 30^th are the re-enrollment dates for children currently attending Adventures In Learning. To reserve a space for your child to attend the September 2010 – August 2011 school year please complete the form we sent home last Friday and return it with your non-refundable annual registration fee.  Space is limited.

On August 2^nd we will re-enroll children who have taken the summer off and begin open enrollment for new families based on availability.

We will be closed on Friday, August 27th in order to clean and prepare our center for the new school year. We look forward to seeing everyone back on Monday, August 30th. The 1st day of the new school year!

School will be Closed on Monday, July 5th in observance of the 4th of July holiday.  Have a fun and safe weekend!

Welcome to our 2010 summer program!

We are excited to be offering our special summer camp program to you once again!  There will be all kinds of special visitors and activities like: The Lizard Wizard, The Santa Ana Zoo Mobile, water play days, special arts & crafts, science & sensory activities and much more! Our summer program begins June 28th and continues until August 27th.  Please keep your calendar posted somewhere handy.  Be sure to look at the weekly lesson plans posted in the classrooms for details and additional weekly activities.

We have done our best to rotate the days of special visitors whenever possible so all the children, part time and full time, can enjoy the events.  Certain activities, like water days for example, are on the same day each week in the morning so you can easily remember when your child will be getting wet and will need water gear.  Other activities, like art, crafts, sensory and games will be done every day so all the children can enjoy them!

Sunscreen:

Please apply sunscreen to your child each morning and we will RE-APPLY it in the afternoon.

What your child will need for water play days:

A swimsuit or clothes to get wet in / water shoes or shoes to get wet in / a towel

PLEASE CLEARLY LABEL EVERYTHING!

• All Red Robin's must be picked up from school NO LATER THAN 4:00PM
• The promotion ceremony will be only about 30 minutes so please don't be late!
• Please have your child wearing their cap and tassel when they arrive at the park
• Please keep your child with you until we call for them to line up with their teachers.

Spring portraits for all preschool & graduation portraits for Red Robins at our Orange center will be on Wednesday, April 21st from 7:30am – until we are done!

At our Tustin center spring portraits for all infants, preschool students and Graduation portraits will be taken on Thursday, April 29th and Friday, April 30th from 8:00am – until we are done!:

Infants and Red Robins +siblings will be photographed on Thursday (if your child does not attend on Thursdays your child's day is Friday)

Yellow Sunshines and Blue Birds +make-ups will be photographed on Friday. (If your child does not attend on Fridays your child's day is Thursday)

Everyone knows a good breakfast is important in providing nourishment for an active school day. Similarly, great books supply children with the fuel they need to stimulate their imagination, curiosity, and knowledge of the world.

Please visit our book fair March 22nd -March 26th.

All sales benefit the school!

We will be having St. Patrick's Day class parties on Wednesday, March 17th at 9:00am.  Talk to your child's teacher if you would like to help. Make sure to wear something green!

Tustin and Orange school districts will begin registration for the 2010-2011 school year.

Kindergarten registration for the Orange Unified School District will begin on March 3, with the exception of McPherson Magnet School.

K-12 open enrollment will be held for two weeks.

To receive a kindergarten registration packet, parents must have all the required documentation, including a birth certificate, current immunization records and two address verifications.

Each school site will conduct a lottery to determine whether a child will attend morning or afternoon kindergarten classes. The date of the lottery and the deadline of the registration packets will be determined by each school site.

Those interested in attending McPherson Magnet School must participate in a lottery.

Families must attend one of the following mandatory orientation meetings at McPherson Magnet School (K-8): Tuesday, Feb. 2 at 9 a.m. or Thursday, Feb. 4 at 4 p.m. The lottery will be on Thursday, Feb. 9 at 9 a.m.
