Blue Birds October News

Orange Preschool

Look what we learned last month!

During the month of September, we learned all about going back to school. We had plenty of fun making different art like, red apples, yellow school buses, and school houses. The Blue Birds learned our classroom rules, finding their own squares on our group time carpet, and know where their cubbies are at. The Blue Birds also learned how to get in their groups and rotate to the next table. We talked about our self helping skills and how we can do things on our own. Lastly, we spoke about the importance of sharing and being kind to all our new Blue Bird Friends.

What we will learn this month…

In the month of October, we will learn about Manners and self-esteem, feelings and emotions; my five senses, seasons; pumpkins, spiders, cats, and bats. In this month we will be making alot of spooky and fun art, such as spooky jack-o-lanterns, ghosts, cats, changing leaves, and so much more! We will be having a special Halloween Party and go trick-or-treating. We will need lots of volunteers for this event. As a school, we will be reading for the Record and we will be reading Ladybug girl and the Bug Squad on October 4th.
